Recent public-relations nightmares at Bridgestone Firestone Inc., Ford Motor Co. and Talisman Energy Inc. have caused many Canadian companies to re-assess their standards of ethical behaviour. Loss of employee morale, public distrust, investor irritation and plunging share prices are reason enough for leading companies to promote values and ethical practices within every phase of their operations.
This workshop goes beyond defining business ethics as corporate compliance with legal standards and obligations. Integrating and promoting values such as honesty, trust, respect and fairness into corporate culture has emerged as an important bottom-line issue.
This workshop establishes an Integrity Program that goes beyond developing a code of conduct for your workplace. Criteria will also be established and benchmarked to help individual participants make better choices with regard to concern for others, honesty, hard work, fairness and compassion.
