Improving Interpersonal Effectiveness (Workshop)

Effective communication has always been, and will continue to be, a critical skill in any job. Recognizing another person¹s communication preferences and modifying your style of delivery and content increases the likelihood you will be understood and your message accepted. This course has significantly improved individual and team communication skills and performance in many organizations.

This one-day workshop in communication skills has been used with most positions at all levels within an organization. It uses a behaviourally based, statistically validated model and provides a two-part feedback instrument. The instrument requires several weeks of lead time in order for respondents to complete and submit a profile for each participant. This is scored and returned to the instructor prior to the session for confidential distribution at the workshop. These are developed from a confidential questionnaire which is completed by five respondents who know the individual in a business setting.

Benefits

Participants will be able to more effectively communicate with a broad range of individuals in diverse business functions. There will be less conflict and a much clearer understanding of what people are trying to communicate and why they are doing it that way. Team work is enhanced and barriers to communication are reduced or eliminated.
